- CAPE TOWN
It has been called the Mother City for centuries and now it's been named amongst the world's most influential centres of creativity. A favourite destination of South Africans and tourists alike - whether you're looking for the excitement of street life or the quiet of nature at its undisturbed best.
- TABLE MOUNTAIN
Explore the mountain by cable car. The mountain is over 1000m high and offers spectacular views over Cape Town and the surroundings. Visit the Good Hope Nature Reserve at the tip of the Cape Peninsula - the most south-westerly point of Africa. Wander around the Victoria & Albert Waterfront - a historic working harbour that has been given a new lease on life as a shopping centre. Here you will find buskers, entertainers and street festivals, lively music at the open air Amphitheatre, eleven cinemas, historic buildings, the Two Oceans Aquarium, the South African Maritime Museum, walks and tours, boat trips and harbour cruises, helicopter flips, a working brewery, numerous restaurants and seven hotels. It is also the departure point to Robben Island.
- THE WINELANDS
The winelands are to many South Africans the source, the very heart of our love of the good life. Our wines rate amongst the best in the world. Explore the diversity of the historical buildings, majestic mountain ranges, art galleries, golf courses, wine cellars and restaurants.
- HERMANUS
The world's only whale crier is found in Hermanus, where he patrols the streets of the town blowing his kelp horn and alerting everyone to the location of the whales visiting the shore between July and October.
- GARDEN ROUTE
The Garden Route stretches over 600 kms from Cape Town to Tsitsikamma and is often called Eden because of its lush splendour - its mysterious forests, dramatic coastline, tranquil lakes and rugged mountains. The mild Mediterranean climate, warm hospitality and friendliness of the people make this an unforgettable experience. The Garden Route has always been a popular golfing destination with world class courses in Mossel Bay, George, Knysna and Plettenberg Bay.
- EASTERN CAPE GAME RESERVES AND LODGES
It is often not practical to include the famous Kruger National Park in a Cape Town and Garden Route tour. However, it is easy to add on one of the game experiences in the malaria free Eastern Cape. The Addo National Park is truly an exceptional elephant (and other game) experience. It is not uncommon to see 50 to 70 elephants gathered at a watering hole at one time. And several private game lodges, such as Shamwari, Lalibela and Amakhala measure up to any of the private game lodges in the Kruger Park.
- KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
This huge Game Park (about the size of Israel) offers guided walks, game drives or selfdrive game viewing. Balance the excitement of game spotting with tranquility back at camp. One has the option of basic park accommodation or 5-star private game lodges which are all inclusive of game drives and meals.
- DRAKENSBERG MOUNTAINS
From the massive basalt cliffs of its northern reaches to the soaring sandstone buttresses in the south, the Berg (as it is popularly known) offers a myriad delights - peace and quiet amid this unsurpassed grandeur where the world's 2nd highest waterfall tumbles down a series of breathtaking cascades. Thousands of trails are marked across the Berg - from short ambles to more strenuous day-long traversing of river and hillside. Or explore on horse back or scenic self-drives.
- NATAL COAST
Durban is holiday heaven and gateway to history-drenched battlefields, fascination-filled Midlands and a resort-dotted coastline that seems to stretch forever in both directions. The warm Indian Ocean and stretched out beaches make this a popular destination.
- MPUMALANGA AND PANORAMA ROUTE
This includes sights such as the Blyde River Canyon and God's Window.
